Missing you all

Postby shenab » Thu, 07 Jun 2012 10:13 +0000

This has been such a sad summer so far and my hardtop is still on. What's happened to us? I know personally I am smashed but I really hope will all get together at some stage.

My 5 had a little tip while I was away and will be in the hospital soon for a patchup. Not my fault or the driver of my car so hoping the insurance companies wont argue the toss and let me go ahead and fix her up. It's been a while that I've driven a banged up motor :(

Anyway, just dropping by to say howdy old friends and I really hope we can get some runs in sometime soon.

S

PS Have I been away so long or am I so used to tapatalk now - has the forum had a facelift?

Hello missus !

Been a bit of a washout of a year so far - I feel it and have heard a lot of other people feeling it. Must stop reading the newspapers.

HI Shena, sorry to hear that your baby has been in the wars :(

I'm in the early stages of arranging a bit of a run, of an evening in August, to coincide with the arrival of the Spanish Armada  Looks like the 8th at this stage. Hope you'll be available in your newly repaired pride and joy by then.

Missing you all

Thanks for the kind words lads. It must be this rain that is getting to me.

John, I saw that and I will definitely be there. She is going to need some TLC and then a good rip to get rid of the cobwebs.

I think I have a family of spiders living in my wing mirror:(

spiders !

Make sure you have them vacuumed out of the vents in the dashboard before you take your next m50 trip.

Been there, done that. Spiders do NOT taste nice, especially the dessicated ones.

I gave up reading the papers, watching the news and checking the weather forecast along time ago !

damn i havent been here for a long time. really sorry!

i dont want to steal a thread, but i dont want to make a new one just for myself :D. Thing is my car collection change a bit, but no worries, mx5 is still with me and wont be gone anywhere for a long time! ;) My skyline had to go and i got myself a WRX a few weeks ago. mx5 is being driven by misses daily and never missed a beat!
i need to get back in to this community! when i dont drive mx5 daily anymore i dont come up here much. i defenetly need to get on one of the meets, but dunno if i will be able to sneak out mx5 from under my misses. i hope you let me in in subaru.
