1.Ordered genuine oil filter/air filter/NGK plugs from mx5parts.co.uk delivered for £30.
2.A mate who drives a honda s2000 said " You shold clean your mazda it's mank ( Smug B*STARD ) SO I Did .. Wash and wax for her again tonight
At long last the bits I ordered from MX5parts eventually arrived last Friday (they were ordered in November!). Got home from work this afternoon and decided I had time to fit them..........
Ready for action Front mud guard: Rear Guard: Rear as it was... Splash Guard removed: Clips fitted then Splash Guard back in place and guard bolted on: Front as standard: Retaining clips removed: Location on sill for clip: Section cut out to take clip: Bolted on: Bolted on PT2: Also put on some exterior quarterlight Chrome trims: And some interior satin trims: And finally some satin control knobs... Ash, you mentioned using some Poorboys....where did you get this, was it an over the counter item? I have been scouring as many motor factor shops as I can find in the Midlands for some Poorboys as well as some Natty's wax - but no-one has even heard of either! I normally use Autoglym polish and sealant - which I think does a great job, however the polish tends to create some "powder" when polishing off, and this also has to be removed from the body when finished (it gathers in the scuttle panel, door gaps, window ledges etc.). Thanks. mrges
I got it from http://www.detailedobsession.com/catalog/
Good guy and got a 10% discount via nutz. If you can hold off i will mail Gareth and see if he will do a discount for mx5ireland members.
