Just got this back from the guy I emailed the time we were talking about phoenix park........

Surprisingly its not going ahead at all this year, but hes keeping the details on file for next year, which I think is the real 20th anniversary

A short note to advise that Phoenix Park Motor Races will not run this year. We have started planning for 2009 now & the sponsorship drive is underway. I will keep your details on file & will contact you in due course re getting the Mazda MX5 club along in 2009.

My wife has now decided to sell her 1.8 litre MX5 - UK spec car 2000, leather interior miles 54k - will shortly get new NCT, VGC. She is the second lady owner - its too small now that we have a place in Dublin & she is planning to bring an estate car over for use there when I am over for motor racing. We were over for Mondello weekend with the racer in a truck & the Mazda couldnt carry all the other kit.

Perhaps you might pass the word around amongst the members that its for sale.
