I appear to have posted my Hello in the wrong section so I appreciate the replies.

Looking forward to getting the new addition delivered (yep, the seller is delivering it - on a trailer) and getting stuck in.
The only photos I have are in his property so I'd rather not post them.

It's a 1990 original Dublin car. It appears to have escaped rust & has some history.
It's currently not on the road, although its driving. It requires some work but is complete.
My plan is to return it to as original as possible.
Other than that I know little about it.
But, delighted to have it. I had a loan of one about 20years ago & loved it. It's taken me a long time to tick that box.

Robert, I've heard your name mentioned as a source of parts, I'm sure ill be in touch.
In the meantime, I'm looking for a screen & a set of original alloys.

I've been told that this car is fitted with a factory limo, could this be the case? Did some come with that?

Anyway, as soon as I have it home & make some space for it, I'll post pictures & more details.

I was hoping that someone on here could give me more information about it, limo being 'Limited Slip Diferential'

I did a quick google and found this -

"Standard transmission was 5-speed manual. In Japan and the US, an optional automatic transmission was also offered but proved to be unpopular. The Japanese and American markets also received an optional viscous limited slip rear differential, although it was only available for cars with a manual transmission. To achieve the low introductory price, the base model was stripped. It had steel wheels, manual steering, roll-up windows, and no stereo or air-conditioning. Power steering, air-conditioning, and stereo were added as standard equipment in later years."

think they might have been originally but they wore out pretty quickly (and became open diffs).
Easy to upgrade to the 1.8 LSD, they rarely break.

Thanks lads. In the garage tonight prepping the car for paint tomorrow.
The car was primed previously but that all has to come off. I also have a yellow rear bumper & black rear (long) reg plate holder! I'm looking forward to seeing the whole lot in the same colour!

I'm away on business for the weekend so when I get back I'll have a nice shiny red mx5 to be reassembled. Can't bloody wait.
Was out with Robert again tonight (apologies Robert for calling so late) so I think I have everything now.
When its back from painting, it will be a service an a mechanical look over to prep her for the NCT.
