Hi all

Your expert advice would be much appreciated.

I'm thinking of selling on my 2007 MX5 1.8

Looking for an idea of the sort of price I could expect to get for it.
There are rarely any MX5s for sale online so its a bit of a grey area.
I may trade it in against something else or sell for cash.

Its got NCT earlier this year, covered until March 2015.
Mileage is c.55,000 miles

The hard top seen in the Pic was purchased by the previous owner direct from the manufacturer so its a couple of years newer than the car and in excellent condition. As the soft top wasn't used much it also appears in very good condition - although I haven't exactly studied it! All I know is that it works fine

Very hard to answer that question, market forces will come into play...at a guess I'd say between €8 and €10 grand?? Have you looked for comparisons on donedeal or carzone?

Yeah, I've been looking on-and-off for about a month. Rarely see a '07 NC and rarely see a hard-top. The combination of the two is even rarer - although there IS an identical one to mine, living somewhere nearby in Lucan! The '06s tend to be listed for c. €7-9k, probably selling for a grand less. I'd hazard a guess that an '07 would be worth in the €9k range, especially with the winter hoodie.

I'm looking to move to an Audi A4 or A5 (need the space) so if anyone has any pointers / advice, thanks in advance.
