Postby MX5Steve » Wed, 04 Jun 2008 4:19 +0000

Does anyone know of someone in Ireland that does Radiators for Toyota Estima's, I'm selling mine and the rad has to be replaced but they want between 350 and 500 euro for the part alone.....

Any help would be great lads, Thanks

no harm in trying traynors either... www.traynors.co.uk

Estima.. always liked them when they were lowered with big wheels (its the "ricer" in me ;-) Kinda look like something from a Manga movie..

Traynors do free delivery to the Rep. of Ireland. They send a lorry/van down twice a week and have many drop off/pick up locations. If they dont go as far as Waterford I'm sure some MX5er is along some part of their route.

Meant to say Stephen that one of Traynors drop off points is near me at the turn for Fairyhouse on N3. If they hav a rad I can collect it for you there.

I live about 2 miles from Traynors, just in case you want me to duck round & check that the part is ok, although they are very reliable. But the offer's there if you want.

I also know of a company in Lurgan that drop new cores in to radiators, I got a focus core replaced for about £50, as good as new. It would be too far away for you, but I'm sure that there would be somebody in your area would do the same job.

Cheers :D

Thanks for all the help lads,
I was given an ebay link from a guy on an estima forum in the uk.
I rang up the company and managed to get the rad delivered for €120. (£60 sterling for part £30 sterling for two day delivery)

Remember a re-conditioned one here was going to cost me €350 and one from toyota quoted me €750 + vat.
Arrived today and mechanic says shes a gud un....... :D

Anyway heres the site:
http://www.dewsburyautosalvage.com/

They specialise in Japanese parts and have a load of mx-5s breaking 8)
