Mine failed on Saturday as well.. Pretty much the same results as before replacing the cat.
Going to have a look at the AFR, and maybe weld on a second cat (Out of other ideas at this stage).

The 914 I am rebuilding passed with good used cat fitted .Reading were 1.1 and limit is 3.3 so well under.and cert til July 2016.!!

Tried again, but still no success.
They were down a good bit after adjusting the AFR, but the lambda was way out..
Going to try one more time, and go mental on the AFR to see if it can pass.

The lambda reading relates to oxygen I think, so maybe a vacuum/air leak in the intake after the AFM or in the exhaust or oxygen/lambda sensor needs replacing.
