Duck tail spoiler, hardtop and mazda speed half cage mk1

Postby adm » Sun, 29 Nov 2009 4:32 +0000

Looking for the above in good condition around christmas time - home for 3 ish weeks so need to pick up between the 23rd of December to the 16th of January

Might also be looking for front and rear strut braces , depending on the mx5 I pick up

the hardtop - something needing a repaint or a gloss black one

If anyone has anything suitable - not really after style bars , want the cage for track day stuff

Thanks everyone :cyclops:

I'd take a look but the mariner may be a bit too extreme for the mum to drive when i'm not - if it were just for me i'd love it :bom:

Here, Vin, will your Mum be Ok with the full cage? I wouldn't worry about it too much for now, as long as the rest of the car is clean.

EDIT: Just saw the ebay link, you're looking for a roll bar, not a full cage.

Try to get a Mazdaspeed Rollbar if you can. They are very good quality and fitting is easy as they utilise origional fixture holes. I got one on e bay and over here for 135 euro. Stiffened up the car too with no rattles either.

Don't think it would withstand a roll tbh, try a harddog.

you saw it Ger, its a brickshithouse yoke. Not as good as a full cage but 10 times better than a style yoke or nothing.

if it were just me i'd go for the full cage eventually - just want something there to take a bit of the pain out of a roll - mainly decapitation if it comes to it :D

we'll see if she doesn't like the car I'll pick up something a bit more normal and track slag project begins :D
