Looking for the above in good condition around christmas time - home for 3 ish weeks so need to pick up between the 23rd of December to the 16th of January Might also be looking for front and rear strut braces , depending on the mx5 I pick up the hardtop - something needing a repaint or a gloss black one If anyone has anything suitable - not really after style bars , want the cage for track day stuff Thanks everyone

93 mk1 beside me can be bought for around 1800euro. spoiler and half cage already fitted. vrt paid and nct till dec 2010. enkei alloys with new tyres. car appears clean but just needs a bit of tlc. tempted myself but no storage space. will try and get some pics later.

sounds good dude - ideally after a clean black mk1 but any other dark colours considered too - if i could get the whole package sounds like a good jobbie !

I'd take a look but the mariner may be a bit too extreme for the mum to drive when i'm not - if it were just for me i'd love it

anyone got an idea of where i can pick up a nice cage/ducktail spoiler new even ? Here, Vin, will your Mum be Ok with the full cage? I wouldn't worry about it too much for now, as long as the rest of the car is clean.
EDIT: Just saw the ebay link, you're looking for a roll bar, not a full cage.

Try to get a Mazdaspeed Rollbar if you can. They are very good quality and fitting is easy as they utilise origional fixture holes. I got one on e bay and over here for 135 euro. Stiffened up the car too with no rattles either.

Don't think it would withstand a roll tbh, try a harddog.

you saw it Ger, its a brickshithouse yoke. Not as good as a full cage but 10 times better than a style yoke or nothing.

if it were just me i'd go for the full cage eventually - just want something there to take a bit of the pain out of a roll - mainly decapitation if it comes to it  we'll see if she doesn't like the car I'll pick up something a bit more normal and track slag project begins
