Netbook advice?

Postby Stig » Sat, 06 Dec 2008 12:30 +0000

hi,

I was thinking of getting an Acer 1 but saw this coming up in Aldi ?
http://www.aldi.ie/ie/html/offers/58_7717.htm
I'm looking for a light wireless laptop for use around the house. I would consider this as it seem very well specified for the price.
Ideally i'd love a mac air, but too dear right now.

thoughts?

O.

Hi Ollie, have a gander at www.komplett.ie before deciding. I find these to be very good value and they have offices beside Dublin Airport and also in the same business park that Ivan is in. I mean they are easy to trace in the event of problems which I have never had, thank God.

Cheers, Padraig

You in a rush Oll?

If not, maybe hang on till January, with the sales. Must say I was taken with the German laptop too, mind.
No more Mk1, now driving an '08 Mk3. Still fun!

Over the last few years I've purchased 3 different re-conditioned pc's from these lads....

www.pctech.ie

Very good price for hi tech pc's, would be ideal if setting up a network at home

bought 1 of these today, base unit only with ram upgrade to 512mb and internet cable for €199..... http://www.pctech.ie/rm-desktop-pc-481-p.asp

Will be able to claim back VAT also, so actual cost €168
