Ollie,

Yeah, he supplied & fitted a new (vinyl, I think, not mohair anyway) hood at Easter. Went back in October to get it tidied up cos it had pulled a bit (quite my possibly my fault for forcing the hood down). Nice bloke. That is the same phone number that I rang him on in October, but I think the address is wrong - I went to him in Swansea. I've known him to be away for periods, so if you have a week or two to wait, try again then.

I'm in Stillorgan (h) & Tallaght (w) if you want to see the hood.

If you want more info, PM me.

Simon

Hi Ollie,
I contacted him recently re.fitting a new mohair roof. I intend driving my 5 over to him probably in March. He said £260 fitted. Ash has expressed interest in taking a run over also. My 5 is being resprayed at the moment so as soon as I get it back ill be making arrangments for the trip to Swansea. You are welcome to join me (us). This address is his house and the workshop is in Swansea near the docks.
All the best, Padraig

A couple of us have bought the mohair from him and self fitted. Have it a couple of years now and its wearing well.
Lots of guides on how-to on the 'net, think one of the forum members did one too.. there is "half" a guide here :
