Some cars caught on camera from my hols........

Postby Stig » Wed, 11 Feb 2009 11:15 +0000

Here's just a few cars I got snaps of from my recent trip to Florida.
Thought i'd share em with you. I did see some miata's (a mk3 and 2 mk1's) but did'nt get any shots of them as they were in moving traffic.

Lots of Stangs' - some real nice ones and this bogo standard one.

Very nice Ollie. Jack's t-shirt says it all!!

The 2 times I've been stateside ( L.A.) have been auto-heaven in terms of range and variety of vehicles , trucks and bikes..my wife doesn't get it though... no surprise there

Nice pics.....and also nice blue skies - just NOT what we had here!

The states is a whole different ball game for cars/driving. I was last there about 5 years ago and we hired a "Sebring" convertible (Chrysler - I think) and drove from Miami down to the end of the Keys, then back up to Fort Lauderdale. A long, "fat" two seater on wide flat roads - a different experience - not to mention when it came to fill the fuel tank........

no kiddin, i filled the tank on the toyota camry for $38usd.
Gas there is currently approx $1.99 a gallon and diesel is approx $1.29 a gallon. But meet any american, they complain about the price of gas, but then its all relative too.
