Hi, Im looking for a nice mx5. I have about 3 - 3.5k to spend . Anyone have anything that might fit my needs?
Idealy I would like the tan/nardi interior on a dark coloured car, but will consider all cars.
Pictures, descriptions etc are welcome!!
Thanks,
Lenny

Hey Lenny, there's quite a few on www.carzone.ie but take your time, it's a buyers' market out there

yep, John's right, you'll get a good mk2 for 2k sterling in the uk and a decent mk1 for 1,200ish in the uk too.
Super value out there currently.

I am thinking about selling my MX5. It is white with a black interior. I have a hard top as well and have just spent a small fortune getting work done to it over the last two years. In fact I am still waiting for it to come back from the mechanic. However, I was hoping to get nearer to 5K for it. If anyone is interested please let me know.

does appear to be a buyers market out there. I have emailed about this one on pistonheads.

Anything that I should look out for on it?
@mcconk, bit too rich for me at the moment but good luck with the sale!!

Hi Lenny,
I note that ad says he's taking no offers, so its 2k sterling for a mk1.
But you could have this mk2 for 2k also.

Tho' It will book higher for VRT.
Have you been to have a look at the cars for sale on the uk enthuasiasts site, www.mx5nutz.com - lots of cars for sale there down the bottom of the forum there.
best o' luck!

He has two fives for sale both sound great one a red one has duty paid
and is on southern plates 1.8 the other black with burgandy leather interior
Might be worth giving him a call..... No affiliations etc I got talking to him as I am trying to source a set of BBS's 14 or 15"

He is in Antrim but from Donegal thus the red mx5 on Irish plates really seems to know his stuff...I think he has owned over 20 fives from talking to him and used to import them as a business. I have found him really helpful tell him Hilary the girl from Clare put ya in touch.
Best of luck sourcing your five have fun!
