Re; Rims - its totally subjective re;styling.
I would heartily agree with Steve re; weight. Try and keep it down and get a good compromise on weight and styling. Check out the rota styles - they offer both.

I'm hoping to get my car indoors sometime this year in order to do a "few" jobs, beginning to wonder now because I'd be tempted to go beyond just the few, once I can walk away from it and close a door as the mood suits Fair dues there PJ John

I'd leave the paint alone for a few weeks to let it go rock hard before doing anything to it, don't even wash or wax it.

Thanks for the advise Fergus, didn't realise that about the paint. If it rains heavily would it effect the new paint job?
