1st big ish problem. the Ault! belt went last night.... Should have new one on today.

It won't effect the timing by taking off the steering pump belt to get it on? Just checking!

Sabik.
There is no issue with the timing but imo it would be worth changing the power steering belt aswell since your going to the trouble of taking off the old one.
Also dont go overboard on tightening the altenator belt as this runs the waterpump and can cause failures.

Tks for advice got the two of them on in about 2 hours, about an hour of trying to open the ault pivit nut. But once loose back together in no time and all in a tesco's car park!
