MK1 1.8 S-Special Lightweight Roadster

~ 2nd owner since import from Japan in May 06
~ less than 72,500 miles on the clock! (actually, 116650km on the clock)
~ NCT passed til August 2011
~ Taxed til Nov 09
~ NEW WESTCO GEL BATTERY
~ Reconditioned rear brake capiler installed
~ New Clutch kit & spigot installed (old clutch kit still works fine, thanks very much to garage dude for ripping me off!)
~ Timing belt done at 75k
~ Induction Kit installed (still have stock one & heat shield)
~ Bilstein shocks and RSR springs
~ Strut braces front and rear (rear removed to fit style/rollbars)
~ New Toyo Sports chrome stainless steel stylebars
~ Torsen differential (This will not be tested by diffing)
~ Soft-top has been replaced with new Tan “Robbins” in perfect condition
~ Nardi steering wheel (replaced new horn button), wheel cover
~ Brushed chrome gear knob (2nd knob also)
~ Power Steering, Electric Windows, Electric Mirrors & Air Conditioning
~ Sportmax 15X8 0 offset wheels imported from the states (serious deep dish action )
~ 195/50 slight stretch on tyres
~ Arches rolled slightly to accomodate
~ New Stainless steel front grill
~ Pioneer CD/Radio stereo system
~ Dual alarm/immobiliser with user manual & 2 fobs (3 keys)
~ fuel cut off switch
~ Second set of lightweight alloy wheels

Extra bits & pieces:
old clutch kit still functional, stock airbox, white gearknob, old OEM Nardi horn button, rear strut brace, jbm square front license plate holder & plate, OEM roadster windblocker, chrome door speaker mounts, chrome sills, headrest speakers, spare wheel in boot, extra wide rear view mirror, brake light & all receipts of work completed. Hey there,
I am thinking of maybe swapping my mk 2.5 for a mk 1 with a cash adjustment.Are you interested?Its up on the IOM threads the crystal blue one.I have had 2 previous mk 1's and want to go back again.Mine is as clean as yours. :?:

sorry, no can do! dont want another car! have 2 more projects to work on & need the space both mentally & physically! best of luck swapping! Is mine as clean as yours??? I wonder... 8)

no problem thanks anyway.The MK 1 feels more nimble and pure.Probably a bit less power but thats not what an MX5 is all about.if I had the cash I would buy that machine as it looks right and I'm sure it is.Goodluck with the deal

thnks for the comments m8 but I originally bought this car for 6k, put in 1.5k so I think over a 2k price drop is more than sufficient. If it doesnt sell I will garage it. simples really!

It's an awful pity Gus. If I didn't already own a 5 then yours would be first on my list. In fact, if it had been for sale at the start of the year before I spent a small fortune on my own I would probably have bought it off ya.

Keep it safe and clean, I'll bet that someone will take it from you before long :wink:
