Honda Prelude 2.0

Postby arnoldblackanddecker » Mon, 13 Jul 2009 9:49 +0000

Alright Guys, and mods/steve feel free to delete this ad. Only posting here as I'm selling to get back in the mx5 fold!

1997 Honda prelude 2.0
NCT: 06/10
Tax: out of date as I do not use the car
Mileage: 91500miles
Serviced regularly
All the usual extras, sr, ew, ps, dual airbags, pioneer cd player.
Price: 2850ono

I've owned this car just over a year but has been in the family since 2000. It's the most comfortable and reliable car I've owned, never let me down and drives like a new car.

Bad Points: Small amount of surface rust on the inside of the sunroof, this has not got any worse in the last year. The paintwork has a few small marks and dings from being kept in underground carpark the last few months. The handbrake needs slight adjustments, as it is a little weak on steep hills. The laquer on the alloy wheels could prob do with a touch up. I have taken pictures of these items. I believe in being honest about the car, as I don't want to waste either my time or other people's. Price reflects the above.

Wow wow, I haven't been on here since I put it up the other day. I'm trying to get money together for a 5 at the moment. (one particular member on here will vouch for that) Trying to bargain at either end of the deal and get it done faster as I'm already losing my arse on this...hence a drop in price. It would seem selling a car in the current climate is quite difficult.

Only put that up this morning, and if it helps I'll go lower again for guys on here!!!
(I only logged in now to drop the price)

well your price is a bit off, it's a nice car and all that....but
it's 12 years old with almost 100,000 miles it's got a country reg and a big engine,
I would think advertise for 1,100 euro and hope to get 900.

Really Ivan, balls I need to get 2k at the very least to free up funds to make this deal happen!

I'm in the same position as most, do I spend money from the few quid I have saved in case of unemployment or just risk the lot! Anyone want to spin the wheel?

(On the plus side I'd have plenty of time to drive the 5....but no money to put petrol in it.)

Nope not sold yet, but i'll let it go for 1400e ovno. Got a good part exchange it for another (great spec) mx5 but he/I still needs to sell this as he has a job set up abroad. Not doing the deal for another week or so though, so it's up on carzone etc.

(I had an offer on this last week for 1400e but it was before I had done the swap deal so I needed more at the time)
