Hey Ollie,
I'll do my best to make it 'cos I think I need the brake pads changed, and seeing as I'm not mechanically minded I'll be the apple tart provider (with cream), tea/coffee maker and general dogsbody if that's ok?
Can you send me some directions please? Hopefully will have a sat nav if my cig lighter works!!!
Looking forward to it!
Ann

Hey Ollie,
25th. is good and I'll bring the notebook and the Service Manual CD-Rom I picked up on e-bay. I don't know how good or bad it is but at €6.00 posted it wasn't going to break the bank. As well as the brake discs and pads, I also have the push button starter to install so hopefully there will be someone along with 'the knowledge'. I'll give you a buzz for directions.

I'll be in the Blue Porsche Ollie....i could bring the van.... Cuckoo?...........Huh? A timing belt is a big enough job, took frank (who knew what he was doing) 2 days to do the last one. Don't think i've ever seen it take less than 8 hours. Fergus will be along to say otherwise now

Good man Ollie.
Will try and make this but early eve commitments make it difficult.
Might drive by for a cuppa if it's a nice day at least.

Hi Shadow,
No it's not Dublin, it's a lot closer to you than that. I't Rathdowney, Co. Laois and if you decide to make the trip you can get the directions off DsStig.
Tom.

Darn... would love to make the day, but have to transport a contingent to U2... so I'll be passing by, but don't think the passengers would appreciate a '5' detour
