Only hard on fuel if your driving hard!! To honest i find it grand.Will take less if i have to.

I like the mk3 tin top cos you get the best of both worlds - a hard top and then push a button, a roadster!
There was a bloke on the IOM run with a nice new lowered one, sublime it was. Best of luck with the sale.
