Hi Ann,

Any joy yet with hard-top? I see you were corresponding on Nutz about one. I was on it last night and went back to 30th.June on the 'Items For Sale' thread and spotted a black one for sale by DavyBoyWonder for £400 and no SOLD sign on it. You might want to take a look.

Hey Tom,

I got some leathers and faux leather samples from that company in the UK and got prices also. I asked for discount and she said she would throw in a free handbrake and gearstick gaitor in matching leather to seat covers. Also they send CD showing you clearly how to put seat covers on ...handy.

Real leather seat covers £299 +45 P &P
2 tone leather seat covers £349 + 45 P&P
Faux leather seat covers £169 + 45 P&P
Faux leather 2 tone £199 + 45 p&P
£25 extra for piping

There are quite a lot of colours, can send you the samples if you wanna see the quality....let me know.

Hi Ann,

They've certainly given you food for thought.

X prices by 1.157844 for € prices. The CD will come in very handy when you do purchase. I'm not in a bug panic so I can hold out until the camping trip to have a look at the samples. What is the quality like and have you been tempted?

Tom.

Will bring samples with me on the Friday night (have to head Galway Sat) and you can see for yourself. :( They look okay but to be honest I would really like to see a set in the flesh! I'm in no panic either and will wait for a while before I make any decisions on it...nothing wrong with the seats I have for the mo.

They are pricey enough but still cheaper than some in Ireland. I think I'll keep looking in the meantime and see what's out there.

Maybe I should put this on another thread...'seat covers'

Ann,

Now that you have your hard-top, you might consider getting a cpver for it. Especially when you've had the paintwork done on it : Item number: 110423699113 on e-bay. After I getting my car the first thing I did was remove the hard-top but then it was a case of, "where do I store it?". Found this on E-bay and bought it and don't regret doing so. It came in it's own case with a set of extremely strong release hooks for hanging it in the garage. Woorth thinking about IMHO.

Ann

I would be interested in the stand and cover from these guys (thanks Cashel)

Do you want to explore a double order and we can see how cheap they would do it? I know you probably don't want this until after you have it sprayed but it you can save on the shipping???

Let me know
