Hi guys, I need to sell my VR Limited. Its a 1996 VR limited edition Combination A.
This is my 2nd Roadster. My first was a 1992 V Special which I had for 5 very happy years.
But now I need the space on my driveway so the VR has to go.
Metallic wine red paint with cream leather seats and cream hood.
Chrome hand brake, chrome gear lever and surround. Momo leather 3 spoke steering wheel. Twin exit exhaust (properly fitted). 4 new tyres. LSD, bilstein shocks, cockpit and engine brace bars.
Car is driving but needs attention. Small patch of rust on base of windscreen. Paint is faded slightly around rear numberplate.
Back plastic window has come away slightly from hood where child next door sat on it. It is not letting in any water but needs to be glued or stitched.
Part of suspension in front of rear exhaust silencer need repair or replacement(so I have been told)
Car was lying idle for about 12 months because of an engine fault.
When warmed up the car would jerk and splutter as if short of petrol. Every mehanic I brought the car to thought it was the fuel system so every part of the fuel system has been replaced. I eventually found the cause myself on the internet. It turned out to be a faulty water temperture sensor (Thermister). No NCT.
Mileage : 117900 Kms - 73700 Miles.

Photo's might help your cause. That said, and not wishing to sound negative, it's not a great time for sellers - more a buyers market at the moment. You might also indicate what sort of mony are you hoping for, baring in mind the work that will be needed to put into the car?
