Its pretty bad here alright.. only 2 roads out of Dodge open (one of them being one lane of the unopened M6) but getting better (just in time for Wednesdays deluge).

We're sorted for the commute tho'

Watch out for the story of the Prison Van that insisted on trying to get through the flood in Claregalway (with 3 prisoners on board) & had to be rescued. LOL

Just unbelievable how bad it is around the country, and how Dublin's escaping, pretty much scot-free. Thinking of buzzing up to Johnny Foxes on a day with some sun to go with the wind - a bit like today... I'd sit outside, pretending I still smoke, and watch from the Dublin hills as the rest of the world - litterally - floats away... :fish:
Climbed Elbrus, Island Peak, Kilimanjaro, Elgon, Everest BC, Mulhacen, Elgon, Kayaked the Liffey to the Nile, swam the Liffey, the Lee & packed ten triathlons into a year... catch me blogging on: http://www.teenagates.com

Kinda spoke too soon on a previous post. Thankfully the Kildare floods are nowhere near my house but some of the roads I'm due to travel on today are closed off. now they're warning about black ice as well so might stay put for another hour before heading out.
My sympathies to anyone else disrupted by the current weather.
