I still have the stock ECU, will the car idle 305cc, its at he limit. I knew you had these for sale but thought that 265cc might be easier for the stock ECU.
![]() Re: injectorsah yeah, stick with 265cc with stock ECU

Got some tan tops from a 96 1.8, see first pic above for 50 euro on ebay, professionally cleaned too. Needed something to do over christmas. How are you getting on? Did you get to the bottom of the timing issues? Did the Air filter work out? ger
![]() Re: injectorsAir Filter is great. Haven't had a chance to sort the timing issues yet. Was in England last week. Hoping to get to it tomorrow morning. Will disconnect the Bipes altogether and see whats happening then.
![]() Re: injectors
If you unplug the black box the car wont start, the CAS is routed through the bipes, you need to go to the ECU and locate the CAS wire (white i think but check the book) separate the wire (it should be a torpedo connection as its the only wire cut on installation) re-make the original connection and the car will start with the bipes essentially disconnected. then you can see if your timing has moved. If the timing has not corrected then i would say the mechanic got the timing wrong, do what steve said and count the teeth on the belt. it thats right then you have a faulty CAS.
