Hi guys... just catching up with some threads. Can someone clarify for me, has the date for this run now changed from the weekend of Friday April 23rd to the weekend of Friday May 7th?

Yes, because of the close proximity the two runs the Chatity Run has been consolidated with the Galway Run on the weekend of May 7th. / 8th. & 9th.

Sponsorship cards are available so anyone who would be willing to raise some much needed funds for Special Olympics Ireland please send me your address via PM.

Ok... I was arranging masses and stuff and dumped the Galway weekend in favour of hanging on for the fundraiser one! Drat. May not be able to make it, I'm waiting for the priest to come back with a confirmation on May 9th for Mum's anniversary mass. He's rather a cross priest and I'd be terrified to change the date!!! Would it be possible to take part in the run on The Friday and Sat, and bail on Sun?

Hi Teena,

Can't see that being a problem. The Friday is about meeting up for a bit of craic but I'd doubt that everyone would be there and the Saturday should see a good day's driving in scenic Galway/Mayo.
