The *bump* was to bring this post back up to the top of the list of topics on the forum.

The group buy will be on as soon as we get the numbers to make it worth the machinists time setting up the machine, 6 or 7 should do it. This thread is to gauge interest.

Names so far :
1) Ken
2) John Sheedy
3) Jack
4) Barney
5) ..

Steve,

I read the other post but can you explain a few things to me as I missed all the banter about these devices?!!

Firstly what do they do? And is what they do beter than other mods?

Secondly, how do you bolt them in?

Thirdly I presume the NCT feckers dont have a problem with them?!

Cheers as allways...

Stiffen/reenforce the chassis/frame rails. They really reduce the flex in the car (lots!).

To fit, remove seats, lift carpet, drill holes, paint in a little anti-rust primer, then bolt them on. There is a little fiddling with the rear brake lines but its just a matter of bending out the brackets a little.
Have a read of this :

Similar to these (without the speed holes) :

and these

Not heard of any problems with the NCT.

Steve

I'm presuming they'll be the same as last time (60e), can't imagine he'll bump them for much more if at all. I'll confirm tho'.
