stupid question about steering wheel

Hi guys,

I am wondering, if the wooden Nardi steering wheel from mk1 would suit to mk2?
I dont care about airbag, I just want to know will the boss from mk1 will fit to mk2. I'll be very grateful for any advices.

It will fit, but just be aware that you will NOT pass the nct without the airbag, so keep the original wheel handy for when you're having the car tested.

Another thing that you might want to consider, your insurance company may be reluctant to cough up in the event of an accident if they discover that you have altered/removed the safety features of the vehicle..be warned!

I didn't think about it. Now I have to really thing twice before I buy lovely wooden steering wheel from MK1.
