Just thinkin' ... Could get the ferry Rosslare to Roscoff on Thurs, arrive Fri Morning. 5hrs drive to Paris-Bercy (lunch in Versailles? ), Drop car at Paris-Bercy, go for Vino + escargo, back to la Gare and take the overnight train avec les voitures. Wake up dans le matin in Narbonne. Then its just a 2.5hr spin down to Barcelona on Sat morning. Ferry home isn't till the following Thurs so this would give us an extra 2 days to meander back through France to Roscoff, save 7 hours of motorway driving + tolls + petrol + accommodation for Friday night. Train tickets cost 167e for every Fri I tried (could only do up to mid April), don't know if there is a high season thing, can't book more than 3 months in advance online so will know mid-Feb. Whatcha reckon? Steve

Just in relation to the accomodation side of things..
If you want, I have a friend in Lloret De Mar that works in sales for a hotel chain, I can try and get prices there.. about 40 minutes from Barcelona.. just for options.
Or saying that I have another friend that does lettings in Sant Feliu and Girona/Gerona (incase you are catalan.) about an hours drive.. regular trains between Girona and Barcelona..
Shit creek survivor... I found my paddle.

I dont suppose anyone would be interested in going to this on the way over http://www.japfest.co.uk/ or would it mess up the plans too much as we would have to go through England on the way, Its supposed to be a great show plus there will probably be lots of nice mx5's there too

Don't suppose it matters really. A couple of the gang are already thinking of going via the UK and I can't see us getting any discounting on the ferry crossings.
Guys - I really would like to book a house tho .. can't do this until I firm up numbers, can you please remove the Prov for the defs. If the +1's are prov you can add that.
I know it seems a long way but these houses go really quick and if we want one along the beachy areas ..
Roleary780 did you have any luck?
