In the car there's a pop compilation CD that I made for a holiday.

Ah Steve, I'm all disillusioned. It's weird how some bands / are great recorded & crap live (or vice-versa), eh?

Still, there are exceptions. On one of those 'hard to get out of' occasions I saw Celine Dion in Lansdowne Road and I must say she was, to my ears, as awful as she is on CD. [/quote]
No more Mk1, now driving an '08 Mk3. Still fun!

On the subject of "Wendy's", does anyone recall Wendy O'Williams - she was the singer with (I think) The Plasmatics? I also (vaguely) recall her being linked to Lemmy from Motorhead in some way.

Anyway, the main reason I remember her was an interview I read where she boasted of having the letters W W printed either side of her "uranus". She said this meant when she bent over you could read her initials!!!! Just the type of girl you would love to bring hoime to meet the parents.
