Mk1 Stainless steel Grille

Postby Geese » Wed, 13 Apr 2011 10:13 +0000

I'm just gauging interest for a run of Mk1 grille. Like this one here http://www.mx5parts.co.uk/product_info. ... cts_id/177
Of course they'll be cheaper thank 30stg.

They'll be the usual stainless steel.

well who's interested?

Thanks for all the replies.

I've got the grille drawn up on the computer so i can produce them at any time. I'm just trying to find the soft edging to put around the edges to it doesn't damage the paintwork around the bumper.

get some petrol hose from a motor factors. I used gates 4mm, cut the braiding off the outside and a sharp blade to cut it . Works really well for front spoilers and its cheap.

Sorry the missus had me lately.

Heavy? probably 300grams definetly less than 1kg it's 1.2mm stainless steel so it's robust. I find the really thin stuff like 0.7 just deforms.
