Getting used the MK2

Postby Mel Walters » Thu, 16 Jun 2011 10:03 +0000

Hi guys.
Well I've had the MK2 for two days. Whilst I was very sad to see my Mk1 driving away I was really happy to let it go as my son has bought it !!

The 2 is a very different fish completely, Although it doesn't have the same growl as the 1 it goes like stink and corners much better. I don't miss the back swing at all !!

It took me a day to get used to the 6th gear but I'm there now.
The comfort is no comparison and I have to say I'm enjoying the new driving experience.

I've been getting texts from my boy saying how he's getting on with my old girl and the grin on his face as he drove away said it all.

So I expect we'll be seeing you on some runs during the summer and welcome him aboard the forum as he has joined this evening.
