Just back from a very enjoyable day in Cork. Thanks, first of all to Kieran, for the idea and to O leary's Centra for putting on such a spread for us and going to the bother to invite others as well!!! I didn't realise what a huge event this is in Tower.



Now to the MX5's themselves, 5 cars turned up: John L (with Mairead), Mel (with daughter Megan), Rhys (with Shauna), Suzanna and Me. Great to meet some new faces and new cars. John L is like the cat that got the cream now that he is back in a MK 1! Mel's new car is a peach, not that Rhys' one is that bad either (except for the hunting!) and Suzanna's car shows John L how a red car should really look like!

Tom and Nora even made an appearance in the "Honda recovery vehicle". (sorry Tom & Nora, didn't get to meet you )

Weather was so so but was still top down driving with a nice trip out to Cobh and then onto Ballycotton. Managed to drive all the way back to Tullamore with the top down, so not a bad day's work.

Really sorry for not turning up on this one, but I drove to Dublin that night so had all the rest I could take!

Came back home only 6:00 in the morning tired as hell

Really enjoyed the day and I know Rhys did too,
Think my daughter is turning into a petrol head too though so could get expensive later on !!!
