Great, a nice gang going now...I was talking to an organiser earlier and space is being allocated to us. He advised we pay online however we can sort that out closer to the date.

He also mentioned that there is a Jazz night being held the night before (Sat) in Adare Manor so if anyone was coming up for the night could be worth a visit. He also advised me of accommodation details on http://www.irishfestivalofspeed.com/accomodation-2/

Could turn out to be a good weekend overall. Let me know if anyone is staying over.

Ann

You book and pay online for two adults, save 33% AND get VIP parking thrown in..simple really

Is there a chance of a party on the Saturday night?? Anyone gonna look at renting a house for 1 night?? Ann..you're in charge here..get it sorted

Maybe we could coerce Shena into organising a house, even though she's not going to this one?? 8)

Mxsideways...you got any ideas as you're from Newcastlewest area??

How long from Killaloe to Adare Manor, what time would we need to be leaving Killaloe? I kinda like that idea, but we'd really need to be careful not to overdo the refreshments on the Saturday night. Check with Mike and see if it's a possibility

Festival of Speed - Adare Manor July 31st

Postby anniniwa » Tue, 28 Jun 2011 11:39 +0000

43.5km, 35 mins drive from Killaloe to adare. Mike and I discussed it earlier this week and only problem was that we felt that maybe there might be a few sick heads (although I do not know who he could possible mean) however we also thought it would make for a great weekend. It's just as easy for us to do it another time but thought I'd throw it out there. I have told the festival of speed we were going and are now on their homepage and the news page that we are attending. We are going to check tomorrow if there is a house or more available on site in Killaloe for that weekend and i suppose we can work it out from there. Either way we will have a BBQ in Killaloe, when is just the question.
