Mk2.5 RS roadster for sale.

Hi,

I’ve decided to put my mazda up for sale.

Basics of the car are:

Year 2000 Mazda Roadster RS, Japanese import. It is a facelift car, mk2.5 as the car was built in August 2000 so one of the first mk2.5’s.
It is also fitted with the sport bodykit which includes a different front bumper, side skirts and rear spoiler.
It was imported into Ireland in 2006, I’m the second owner in Ireland. A lady from Howth owned the car before me.

NCT until April 2012, taxed until October.
133k kms on car.

1.8 BPVE VVT engine with 7.5k rpm redline and 160ps (157bhp).
It has a six speed box and torsen LSD as standard
It has the larger sport brakes and bilstein dampers.
There is additional chassis bracing on the RS model.
Car also had aircon which is working fine and bose hifi.
Nardi leather steering wheel, mazda alloy pedal covers and alloy handbrake lever.

Since I bought the car I have done the following.

Timing belt and tensioners replaced.
Fresh coolant.
New radiator.
Service with 10w40 mobil oil and genuine mazda filter.
New NGK plugs.
New brake fluid.
New braided steel brake lines all round.
Diff and gearbox oil replaced with redline fully synthetic oil.
New polyurethane diff bushings.
New westco sealed battery.
New genuine mazda shifter turret seal and gear gaitor.
Mazda RX8 gearknob.
New mazda original sport 16” alloys.
New Michelin pilot tyres all round, 205x45x16.
New rear light cluster seals.
New S2000 stubby aerial.
New mazda fan spray washer jets.
Clear side and front indicators fitted.
Pressed metal number plates and new front number plate plinth.
Front bumper rad grille from mx5parts.
I also fixed the slow window mechanisms.

Car is in very good overall condition, I machine polished the car last week and it looks excellent.
It drives very well, has enough power for the weight of the car but I’m sure most are aware of the ability of the mx5.
There is no rust on the car, interior is in excellent condition.

Cheers timmy, car is as well looked after as any of my previous one's, was treated to a machine polish last weekend so looking the business now.

Pity I have to sell, didn't plan on selling so soon but something came up and I have to let it go.

Love the front bumper and side skirts. Shame i couldn't buy separately as my car is the exact same colour. Was considering selling too but then changed my mind. Would miss it too much!
