Anyone coming on Sunday from west Clare? I hope to be coming from Eniistymon/Lahinch and will likely have a VW Golf or similar Hertz rental.
Please PM if you are interested in meeting as you could be my guide. I might need some help or will otherwise rely on Google navigation on my HTC!

Yeah, why not but I'm not really sure when we'll leave in the morning. It takes about 2 hours to get there so to be there by half nine we'd need to get up at or before 7am on Sunday morning. Normally, I'm up that early only if I'm going to the airport, sailing or about to go to sleep soon afterwards. What time did you think of leaving? I.

John I have organised a shelter so no need to bring yours.

Little Red is busted... blew a water hose, or a water pump, or maybe even a gasket (God forbid)... plumes of steam on Merrion Square this evening... why do other motorists beep angrily when it's clear you have a problem? did they seriously not see the fog of vapour floating across the Dail plinth? Did they think I was blowing bubbles? having an accident with my chewing gum? smoking a big cigar? Anyway, my baby's in Intensive Care at a garage in Ashbourne.... think of me in Killaloe revellers
Climbed Elbrus, Island Peak, Kilimanjaro, Elgon, Everest BC, Mulhacen, Elgon, Kayaked the Liffey to the Nile, swam the Liffey, the Lee & packed ten triathlons into a year... catch me blogging on: http://www.teenagates.com

Little red is not busted..he's just taking a rest!!! Let us know when you get to the bottom of the problem. As I said before, you'll be back in no time , and there's bound to be spares available through this forum if that's what's required!! John

Sorry for you and your experience, TeenaG.
Can you get a lift in another mx5?
Can anyone PM me a recommended route to this place from Ennistymon? Preferably quick yet fun and scenic.
I have little or no reception here so may not reply for a while. I will have a silver VW Golf on 11 D number plates and Hertz sticker.
Cheers, Ben
PS. I want to get someone's mobile number so I can locate the group when I arrive.
Thanks Bem

Thanks. I have had little or no reception on 3 since leaving Dublin. I can take the new.motorway from Ennistymon to The Limerick/Killary exit. Thanks! Unless there is a good fun drive part of the way. I figure take the freeway until Limerick minimises my risk of getting lost!
