I edited the post to remove the nonsense stats generated by the app. When viewing map, deselect the "splits" checkbox on the left to view route more clearly. Hey Mods, can we fix it so that URL opens a new window on this forum...

Hello all . Had a fab time .Only problem was a small mechanical mishap on the way home which was quickly sorted by my new best friends, Kim and Peter in their excellent workshop . Thanks again ,lads ,you really got me out of a bind. Can't wait for the next run. Hope it's half as good. Slan go foil.

Hi all, is anything like this planned any time between 19 July and mid/late August?

I've had fun on the roads last year, keeping up with a pretty quick Skoda and some other cars, but haven't had the pleasure in or with MX5s.

Hopefully it's possible this year! Is the Irish Festival of Speed on again this year? I did make it from Clare to see it last year and enjoyed meeting a lot of you then.

Hi Ben, the festival of speed is gonna be a bi-annual event, so 2013 it is then! i have a run planned for the evening of August 8th..in the Dublin/Wicklow mountains to accomodate some fellow Spanish mx5 owners who are visiting. See seperate posting.

Thanks John, that explains the lack of info compared to last year.

If I'm around I'd love to join in or meet up for the Wicklow / mountains drive. We usually do such a drive ourselves each visit.
