Hi mise,i read Mark Littles book and thought it was a great read,i havent read Full Circle by Michael Palin but i have read Sahara,Hemingway Adventure and Himalaya by him.
Driving over Lemons will be next on my list it sounds good and Hope by Mary Ryan to follow methinks! I can highly recommend "An Irish Navvy-the diary of an exile" by Donall MacAmhlaigh.Its about his experience working in england in the 1950"s........workless and foodless days ,the hardships of the work camps ,lonesome partings after trips home ,periods of intense isolation and occasional bitterness Sean og

Just finished The Cloud Garden by Tom Hart-Dyke and Paul Winder.......about 2 backpackers kidnapped by rebels in the Darien Gap near Columbia in 2000.True story and a cracking read.Tom Hart-Dyke has also written An Englishmans Home and has appeared on BBC in Save Lullingstone Castle,hes an eccentric bloke and a good laugh.
