Power Pulse Header by Racing Beat

I've been scratching my head trying to identify the exhaust Manifold that's in the '92 1.6 Eunos I bought a few weeks ago. There's a racing beat sticker on the back of the car which I'd paid no attention to. Just googled it and found the header/manifold (link above).

The rest of my exhaust system is stock. Does this thing actually give any more power. I've driven other 1.6 and other than the sound (which is slightly different), I'm not sure mine is more powerful.

Anyone know about these headers/manifolds?

I can't see this manifold flowing less than the standard cast iron one..
Only one way to find out quickly: A few pulls side by side on a (private) straight road .
Mine is the same model and year as yours, standard engine wise with only an emptied cat'.

Ah sorry, didn't even check under the heatshield, it's a tubular one from factory, not cast iron, my bad.
Still, the runners from the aftermarket one seem to have a bigger bore.

I think it just sounds better...that's about it. Rhys, is the primary reason your car is so loud because you've no cat? In other words if I bypass my cat will my car sound like a giant farting whale when driving through the lee tunnel?

I like the sound of a farting whale by the way!
