After yesterday's fantastic gathering, hopefully there is enough enthusiasm to make this run successful. What I am proposing is an evening run into West Cork to see the sun set at Mizen Head. Sun Set is at approx. 9.45pm and as the 21st this year is a Saturday it should work out for many. I am thinking of meeting in Dunnes Stores car park at Bandon Road Roundabout at 7pm and an indirect route down to Mizen, planning to back into the city around midnight (or so). Mizen is about 80 miles but is a good two hours driving, but great roads guaranteed! I'll post a route shortly so anyone interested just add your name under mine.

Hi Rhys, the route should be fine for you. I am planning to go down via Coppeen, Dunmanway and Durrus, then home via Skibbereen and Clonakilty. At least there is no speed bumps. paulc.

Anyone recommend a good place to stay that night? I refuse to pay 189 for the Maldron Hotel. What's everyone else doing?
