Shena, is mum coming to Mizen as well?!! You are welcome in what ever you are driving. Say 8pm ish. in Drimaleague, exiting the village by Collins's Garage? Rhys, shame you cannot make it. Enjoy your night. Nico, Kieran, leaving work a 7 probably means leaving Cork around 7.30? That is making it very late as it is about two and a half hours (plus stops) to Mizen. You have the route and we may still be in Drimaleague when you get there. Just think of all the fun you will have playing catch up. My mobile no is 087 6788546 if anyone wants to give me a call for more on the route etc. paulc

Just made it to cork. Avoided the motorway and hit the Vee on the way. Looking forward to the run.

Just in, it was just mighty in west cork tonight. The roads were practically empty and as for the sun set, well there was just one problem, mizen is facing the wrong way!!! How's ever, we did have fun chasing the sun trying to find a view in the right direction but just ran out of road. Basically we ran out of Europe, next stop Canada. It was well worth the effort and hopefully all are home safe and sound. Until the next time and thanks for all the company ... Kevc will post his photos shortly. paulc

Well thanks so much for organising that Paul. Maps and everything...very impressive. Well done sir. I got an ear load of abuse driving through Carrigaline on my own with the roof down at 12.30 am. I suppose when there are 7 cars in a row doing it it look less daft! Looking forward to the photos Brendan

Thanks Paul for a great run. Some fantastic roads ye have in Cork and great views.
I had some blast on the way down into Kenmare. Those tunnels are class!! If it wasn't so late I would gone back up through them.
Got the same abuse as you Brendan going through Kenmare but sure what do they know!!
Great to meet some new faces. Looking forward to the next one.
