 Hi there,
Am new to the MX-5 world so thought I'd post a quick note to say hello! I picked up my 1991 MX-5 yesterday evening and took it for a spin across the Dublin mountains! What a super feeling it was to drive it! Even though it rained and I couldn't put the hood down, it didn't matter!
 Cheers!
 Taz

*grin* Thanks for the lovely welcome!
@John - If BRG means British Racing Green, then yes, she is!

I'd seen the posts about the trip to Waterford, might come along for the day on Saturday!

 Cheers

 Hi Taz,
 Thank god it wasn't you

 1) she didn't wave (mortal sin)

and 2) Her roof and car in general was in bits and my little lizard gave a sigh of pity passing her by!!

The back plastic window was brown taped together, the roof needed scrubbing, the body needed washing and waxing and the alloys were cheapy gold!!

 Sigh!

sorry if I have insulted anyone else here but for the love of god!!!!!

 Ergggggggggg! No wave??
 I'm all for the waving!
I used to have a 1973 VW Beetle and just loved when other Beetle owners gave me a wave! It's a crime not to wave back!!
            Cheers

..............used to? I am winning 12million on the Lotto tomorrow night (back off all.....I will pay for you all to go to france next year!) but WHEN I do I want to buy a 75 beetle and get it totally done up for my big sis who has always always loved these.....but now...with my little nephew....it would have to be totally baby-proofed and upgraded.
 Love them!!

 Hi Taz, welcome.
The runs are great (I only done 1 so far, but it's pretty relaxed and the people I met are sound).
Hope to see you in Waterford.
