[quote="Ollie Brady"]Lads, I'm shocking offended.........did i happen to say at any time i'm a barrister at law by profession?[/quote

If you were, I reckon you'd be driving a Mk3 , and so would your missus and all your relations back to Moses

Right, whose profession is next for the ribbing??Are there any insurance sales people here?( A-la Life of Brian)

Oh, Oh .. here's a good one... any tax inspectors? :x :x :x

Gentlemen

If you don't mind the apron strings hanging from behind the car, I will be heading down Saturday morning too .. (I guess that means you can add my name to the list ;0)) .. wouldn't mind joining the convoy (do 2 cars qualify as a convoy?)

Ok.. it probably would be just as handy for me to head to the M50 from Newbridge then and meet up en route.... let me know your timetable. Going to the Pope's cross wouldn't be necessary coming from this direction.

Guys,

not tempted to try out the new "almost motorway" bypassing Carlow?

Having gone to college there and spent lonely weekends on my 49cc scooter "putt-putting" down the old road it will be a dream come true for me .. ;0)

I guess me and my strings will be travelling a convoy of one then!!

See ya down there.

Shenab, I'm easy one way or the other in terms of which route to take, and seeing as you are a relative newbie I would be more than happy to accompany you on the N9 . Keep in touch over the next few days, who knows we may get a few additions

How is everyone fixed for accommodation, I know a few of you are booked in to the calibre house B&B. Hotels in town are park or lawlors, Park is the better of the 2.
If anyone needs more info pm me or stick a post up. If its been anything like teh last few weeks we are in for a great weekend.

Hi Shena... think I'll go the N9 after all. Will probably have my better half in the navigator's seat. Want to arrange a mini-convoy?
