How about outside the Kilgowan Inn...that's the pub on the left a couple of miles after you come off the M9... say 8 a.m.? The Missus may have to cry off though because of lack of child minding volunteers.. will probably bring one of the sprogs with me instead.
That should leave us plenty of time to get to Dungarvan and get breakfast down there before the start of the run
Ash, can you remind me of how long it took you to get from Dungarvan up to Newbridge for the Kildare run?? Thanks
John

That's grand Shena, but might be better for us to have our breakfasts before departing from home since Ash reckons 2-2 1/2 hrs drive down..either that or bring your cornflakes with ya

Cornflakes a la MX5 sounds the way to go then :0)
It will be interesting to see what difference the Carlow bypass will make. Wonder if anyone has done this run yet?

came down the carlow bypass last week, tis great! A pity they haven't castledermot done yet..... Word of warning all the signage is MOTORWAY (blue) but the speed limit is 100... silliy but I thinkthere cutting costs by getting it ready for 2010 when the waterford to dublin motorway will be opening!
Once they get that up and running its goin to be fairly boring drive the whole way but quick though
on another note theres a high pressure coming in thrusday, so weather is looking good for the weeekend,,, can't wait My first mx5 run in my home county ....... Welcome to the Déise guys......... the SUNNY (for now) south east........

Yeah looking forward to it myself, Ollie details as follows,
Friday evening meet in town when ever you are ready. Details of the pub available on the night. If anyone doesn't have my number pm me and i will send it to you.
Sat
Meet in dungarvan town square from 10 onwards. Spin out the coast road with plenty of stops, chats etc.
Continue on to Tramore, if time allows then across to hook head on the car ferry. Or else we head up the mountain there to the magic tree. (might do this any way)
Evening go out for a bit of food a few drinks.
Sunday
Same meeting place
Undecided on the route depends on how is there and where they are going back to but more than likely be heading towards the Vee.

John
that sounded a bit dodgy .. your missus and my OH might have a problem if we are meeting at 8PM at the Kilgowan inn!!!! escpecially as my OH will be with me!
Ollie ... that is 8AM .. just to clarify.
Cow guys .. want to make that a bit earlier and hook up with us?
I fancy a convoy for my first run ..
