Hi Lads,

Just letting you know my mx5 mk1 was stolen during the night last night..

If spotted out and about in this sunny weather it's BRG 91D 48308.

It's been an enjoyable 8 years owning the car.....looks like this could be the end of an era.!! :twisted:

May well be found intact or light theft damage.Insurance is there for that .Hopefully its found soon

Yes taken from the driveway during the night.
Still no word on it, very unlikely it will be found intact. Nothing sacred is there........((

Robert is right they often turn up after a couple of days with only light damage , joy riders , they should be shot on sight !

Still no word on the car, have spread the word through other mx5 sites, and stolen /recovered and word of mouth avenues.

I reckon it's gone in a container by now.
Will get onto the Insurance Company, don't know if I will have to wait for an extended period seeing that the car hasn't been found yet.
Presume I will have to fight for a decent settlement.

Ok guys my car has been found. It was hidden in underground car park into town. Management reported it to Guards as suspicious.
Guards have it at a recovery yard. Went to see it on Saturday, all seems fine, one burst tyre, all panels, locks , hood ok.
It's in a filthy state covered in dirt and dust, plus forensics have been over it for prints.
Hope it get it sorted and back home tomorrow , then some major TLC needed after that.

Still glad to get it back in one piece.
