Hi All....... it's been quite a while since I've been on here - but am considering getting back into MX5s again. Two cars are currently drawing my interest, and I wondered if both/either are (or were) member's cars on here - and/or if anyone knows any history/information on either? Cars in question are:

black MK1 - reg. 95-D-47152

and

blue MK2.5 - reg. 05-D-86476



P.S. It was a real trip down memory lane looking at posts (and usernames) from way back when ......

Hi m, the 05 is most likely UK import looking at the high reg number but please confirm.If so do not touch it as it will undoubtly have rust issues underneath etc.Mk1 95 may be Jap car which is usually good news.We have 2 mk1 here for sale 1990 and 1992 if your interested. 086 8226506

Hi autocheck - thanks for getting back to me. And yes - the 95 is a Jap car. Have tried contacting the 05 owner, but no reply yet.

I looked at your listing for the two cars - however I'm not looking for a project..... my spannering skills wouldn't extend that far!!!! I want something NCT'd (and with as much tax as possible!)..... then again, aren't we all!!!!


I'm guessing they are cars owned by folk here - which is unfortunate as they would probably be well looked after examples. Will let you know how it goes!

Hi mrges the black 95 looks good, would have liked to see some pictures of the interior though.

Have you had a look at this one: https://www.donedeal.ie/cars-for-sale/m ... r/11848924 it looks to be a good one with some nice upgrades done in the engine bay.

Take a day out and see them all you will know better then, if you hit Roberts place you will be able to see three in one spot.
