Well, I'm a Brit who came here for the Irish women (well, one of them).

I don't get a vote, being a foreigner, but I'd have voted yes, although I was somewhat swayed by my mate Aidan's arguments about the democratic deficit.

Ah well, I'm sure you will have another chance to get the right answer. Don't the Irish citizens among you feel insulted by the way that in each referendum, if the vote goes against the government, you're asked again and again until you give the answer the Government wants? Yeah, they're going to change the Liston Treaty itself in 5 years time and us Irish won't have any say in that at all, even if we vote yes next Friday.
