Bigger charger is very hard to find. It would be best option though.

Another octane day last Friday, brakes vibrating more now, may have warped a disc. Ar1's still have loads left but only did 1/2 day in Mazda.

Put in some new rotors today, didn't think I overheated them but the vibration is gone. Same pads.

Found this just before a multi venue auto test. I was thinking of changing the suspension anyway as it's probably 10-15 years old. Tein super streets that were covered with underseal.

Found these year old Ohlins on nutz.



Bastard of a job getting the old fronts out, spring adjusters were seized solid and limited space for spring clamps but got there in the end. They make the rest of underside of the car look very old.

Quick test drive and the car is much stiffer, good range of damping from fairly stiff to really stiff. The ride isn't as good as the Teins, but the springs are much stiffer in the Ohlins, so its expected. Be interesting to see how they go on track.

Long overdue update

Pulled out the engine last year, put in forged rods, new rings etc.

Had the turbo itch for a long time and couldn't go much further with the supercharger.

Went the whole hog with the turbo and got a borg warner because I hate turbo lag.

I also put in a Mishmoto thermostatic oil cooler and a fluidampr.
