I was asked to provide the mileage when renewing the policy with Autoline this year. No evidence required, just a form to fill out stating the mileage. That said, this may have been because I added a second car to the policy this year? (and a note to anyone thinking of having two cars on the same policy - the mileage restriction remains the same..... so both cars share the total mileage limit).

I was just wondering the same thing??? I have my 94 with carole Nash and I assume it is the same so.... Thats a pain. I was going to try and get a daily driver mk2 auto and was going to stick it on the policy but I am a 110 round trip to work so that would be a disaster. Ill have to re think. I may change evrything and just get a newer mk2 and insure it on its own and forget the classic policy. I may have a nice clean 94 Mk 1 up for sale soon !!!

I think autoline are open to increasing the mileage (+ policy cost :-) ), fairly sure they said if I thought I was going to do more than 3k to give them a ring back.

That's right Steve (I realise I didn't mention that!). They told me I could increase the mileage (as I now have two cars on the policy), but there would be an extra cost.
