On another topic, what's the story with modifications on a classic policy? Do people just not tell them or what because carol Nash has told me that any modifications and they won't insure the car?
And I'm not talking about turbos and that either. Like a splitter and skirts or a body kit and they refuse a quote?

Not declaring is a gamble. Autoline, that Steve mentioned above, are very good as regards mods. Others however may not be as accommodating. In the event of a claim, if you have modifications then your insurance could possibly be null and void.
