Give your mx5 zip a good spray of silicone spray, that will definitely help it.

Thanks for that, when it got stuck I left it alone, I'll try some silicone on it but I think it's skipped a couple of teeth. Thankfully it's stuck in a spot where it is able to open enough to let the roof down and be able to zip it closed when putting it back up. Christmas is coming so a new roof might be added to the santa wish list

, have to use screenshot
Nice.
It's likely the original photo file is too large unfortunately, the forum has a restriction on upload file size to keep the loading speed up. Screenshots are smaller so it works.

Thanks Steve, I'm new to the android phone but do you know if there is a way to make the uploading of pics smaller so that they can be posted?

So, as advised, I tried lubrication and a bit of force, perseverance and hope won, now have a fully functioning zip so the idea of changing the roof is put to the back of my mind.
Trying to add a picture but now for some reason I can't even add a screenshot

Hi Steve, I've sent a couple of pics to you, amazed how many BMW minis are around, just looked for something to take a picture of and there it was, last night I saw at least 8 of them all in different parts of town

That's a great camera! Not surprised the originals are too big

I found an app called lit photo to compress the pictures in the play store, it looks like it'll do the job.
HUAWEI p30 is the new phone and it's so different to the iPhone so it's taking a lot of getting used to, camera is about as good as you'd get I'd say, now if I could sort out the text display size, some pages the print is tiny and others too big for the screen

Ya Steve, thats the only way I can do it so far, I'm still messing around with the settings, here's a screenshot of what I can see when typing

I'm sure I've set something wrong somewhere

Surprisingly the screenshot works again
