Re: A teaserNice rims..... I'm guessing from the NEC Practical Classics Car show?
Re: A teaserSpot on, I've got to resize the pics before I can post them
Re: A teaserThese pics are from the Nec show this weekend.
Got speaking to the owner of this "bluebird", nice guy who's put a massive amount of effort to get it like this You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

Re: A teaserSo, not too much going on on the mx5 side of things, I wonder how one of these would be a daily driver here (resizing seems to have damaged the sign, it says just add a mx5)

Re: A teaserI don't know why but the guy with "bluebird" wasn't on the owners club stand even though he travelled over from Northern Ireland and did promote the club
Re: A teaserIan Cummings and bluebird, he was invited to exhibit the car by the organisers, seperately from the owners club, an honour in itself.

Re: A teaserThat's very good to hear Brian, as you say an honour, I did wonder why he wasn't on the mx5 stand, any idea how he got on in the competition?
Re: A teaserHaven't heard, so I suppose that may not bode well. I gather he also has a Focus ST that he also travels the UK showing.

Re: A teaserI'm going to go against the grain here but I find that Bluebird horrendous. The second Mariner blue example is far more tasteful and restrained......just my 2 cents ! But fair play to him for raising money for charity by means of the car. All credit to him.

Re: A teaserIan Cummings poster in NI MX5 group, 2nd overall in the Pride of Lancaster group.

Re: A teaserFair play to him, second place was a good result but I imagine he's a bit disappointed after all the effort involved.
True enough about the other blue one, two of the lads with me both said they preferred the other one, mostly because it had much less bling. I would have liked to see under the bonnet of the green meguires one on the mx5 stand as that car looks to be totally standard
